Many of the most beautiful old buildings in the historic suburb of Parktown can be attributed to British architect Herbert Baker, who arrived in Joburg in 1902. This walking tour traces a route along Jan Smuts Avenue and Oxford Road in search of some of Baker's most wonderful buildings, offering insights into the historic buildings themselves and the man who designed them.<br /> <br /> Tour begins at 14:00 at the offices of the Johannesburg Heritage Foundation and lasts approximately 3 hrs.
