This tour of the pan-African suburb of Yeoville is led by resident heritage expert Maurice Smithers and Gail Wilson. The tour takes in the wide variety of faith-based institutions in historic Yeoville including the St Francis of Assisi church (built in 1912), St Aidan’s church, and two of Yeoville's many synagogues. Due to Yeoville’s rapidly changing demographics over the past two decades many of Yeoville's religious congregations have changed and the religious uses of the area's many buildings has also changed. In particular the tour looks at the evolution of Yeoville's many different faith communities which include various Christian, Jewish, Muslim and even Rastafari sects.<br />
