Some Beatles fans love to dump on Yoko Ono, the love of John Lennon's life who it's popularly said 'broke up the band', but it is also widely recognised that the Japanese performance artist had an incredible impact on Lennon's creative output, particularly the production of one of the period's most iconic records Imagine.

John and Yoko: Above Us Only Sky follows the pair during the creation and release of Imagine, outlining the radical messages of peace and change that the pair strove to put forth to the world through their art and music. Through interviews and unique never-seen-before footage, the film examines the atmosphere of the time and the pair's place within this context, looking at how the art, activism, politics and music of John and Yoko are intrinsically entwined.
