On Sun, Sep 14, 2025, The Hangout at The Troyeville delivers a high-octane Sunday session bursting with genre-defying flair and infectious energy. Bringing the brass and the bounce, Joburg’s very own Bombshelter Beast, with their wild mash-up of kwaito, house, ska, rock, boeremusiek, balkan beats, and more. Warming up the stage is Steve Umculo, whose feel-good fusion of Afro-centric grooves and folk harmonies.

For this show, doors open at 12:30 and performances start at 14:00. This allows you plenty of time to enjoy the full bar and food menu from the wonderful restaurant at The Troyeville before and during the show. 

Note: Security personnel are stationed at The Troyeville's front and back entrances. Safe parking is available on Wilhelmina Street, located at the rear of the hotel. The front entrance is perfect for Uber, Bolt, and taxi drop-offs and collections.
