Dust off your boots and tip your hat, The Hangout at The Troyeville is going full country for the Going Up Country afternoon, featuring Jasper Dan and Justin Serrao, on Sun, Jan 25, 2026.

Jasper Dan is a southern rock band from Johannesburg, known for their energetic performances. After entering the South African music scene in 2015 they quickly developed a loyal following with their honest brand of southern rock ‘n roll. Justin Serrao is a Johannesburg-based singer-songwriter known for his indie folk and country-leaning sound. His music is rooted in storytelling, blending acoustic folk, Americana, and country influences with a distinctly local feel.

For this show, doors will open at 12:30 and performances begin at 14:00, allowing you time to enjoy the full bar and food menu from the wonderful restaurant at The Troyeville before and during the show.

Note: Security personnel are stationed at The Troyeville's front and back entrances. Safe parking is available on Wilhelmina Street, located at the rear of the hotel. The front entrance is perfect for Uber, Bolt, and taxi drop-offs and collections.
