On Wed, Sep 24, 2025, spend Heritage Day at The Hangout at The Troyeville as they celebrate South African music legacy with a powerful tribute to local reggae legend Lucky Dube featuring Thami Kiet and Soweto’s Sawubona Music Jam.  Joining them is Jahworx, hailing from the Magoebaskloof Mountains in Limpopo and bringing a versatile fusion of reggae and genre-blending grooves.

For this show, doors open at 12:30 and performances start at 14:00. This allows you plenty of time to enjoy the full bar and food menu from the wonderful restaurant at The Troyeville before and during the show. 

Note: Security personnel are stationed at The Troyeville's front and back entrances. Safe parking is available on Wilhelmina Street, located at the rear of the hotel. The front entrance is perfect for Uber, Bolt, and taxi drop-offs and collections.
