Sugardrive bring their sound to The Troyeville on Sun, Mar 15, 2026. Formed in the '90s, the multi-SAMA-winning band are known for evolving from riff-heavy alternative rock into a dynamic mix of pop, electronica, dance, and jazz. Also on the line-up are award-winning bartender and Sin + Tax owner Julian Short, alongside producer, sound engineer, and musician DJ Matthew Fink, whose résumé reads like a who’s who of contemporary South African music. Expect an afternoon packed with nostalgia, craft, and great tunes.

For this show, doors open at 12:30 and performances start at 14:00. This allows you plenty of time to enjoy the full bar and food menu from the wonderful restaurant at The Troyeville before and during the show. 

Note: Security personnel are stationed at The Troyeville's front and back entrances. Safe parking is available on Wilhelmina Street, located at the rear of the hotel. The front entrance is perfect for Uber, Bolt, and taxi drop-offs and collections.
