On Sun, Aug 24, 2025, The Hangout at The Troyeville brings the best of the Cape to Joburg with a Sunday showcase of soul-baring lyrics and genre-blending sounds. Headlining the night is acclaimed singer-songwriter Wren Hinds, whose tender explorations of grief, fatherhood, and memory strike a delicate balance between vulnerability and lyrical finesse. He’s joined by an accomplished band featuring Jonno Sweetman on drums, Dylan Fine on electric guitar, and Maurice Paliaga on bass, adding rich layers to his reflective sound. Sharing the bill is Kayla The Crow, a rising star known for her distinctive voice and psychedelic pop-rock soundscapes that drift seamlessly between eras and moods.

Note: Security personnel are stationed at The Troyeville's front and back entrances. Safe parking is available on Wilhelmina Street, located at the rear of the hotel. The front entrance is perfect for Uber, Bolt, and taxi drop-offs and collections.
