Dive into the beautiful world of Marigold Beads on Wed, Dec 6 and Sat, Dec 7 at 54 The Valley Rd. These eye-catching beaded necklaces are the outcome of a special collaboration between Johannesburg-based artist Joni Brenner and the Marigold women's cooperative in Zimbabwe.

In 2011 Brenner, a Zimbabwe native, ordered three beaded necklaces for herself, sparking a creative partnership that has now spread these intricate pieces across South Africa and beyond. Crafted by dedicated women in Bulawayo, Marigold necklaces boast the artistry of hand-loomed Japanese and Czech glass beads woven into ribbon-like strands.
