Everard Read presents two solo exhibitions running in tandem this September:<br /> <em>Serendipity,</em> a solo exhibition by painter, printer, installation and video artist Pauline Gutter is a collection of intimate and personal self-portraits of the artist's own hands, which she refers to as 'hand-scapes'. Painted in earthy tones, the artist's hands appear in strong, muscular poses with each hand seemingly at battle with the other. <br /> <br /> <em>Only This and Nothing More </em>is an exhibition of works by Rina Stutzer whose sculptures typically explore the changes in people, land and animals. In this exhibition Stutzer focuses particularly on crows and magpies and the unique characteristics that these birds possess which overlap with naturally human traits.
