Highlights of the artworks on sale at the October 27 auction include works by internationally-renowned local artists such as silkscreens by Walter Battiss and etchings by Sam Nhlengethwa, as well as smaller works by iconic international artists including lithographs by the highly sought after painter and printmaker Robert Hodgins and woodcuts by American pop-culture artist Jim Dine.
Unusual and rare furniture - including luxurious carpets, chandeliers, decorative items and an astonishing collection of antiques also form a major part of the upcoming sale.
