A joyous evening of classical music, this fundraising concert is held in aid of The Ruth First Jeppe Memorial Trust which provides scholarships for underprivileged girls to attend Joburg's prestigious Jeppe High School for Girls, one of the top private schools in the country. 

Conducted by leading South African conductor Richard Cock, the programme for the evening includes  Grieg’s famous Piano Concerto in A minor, a My Fair Lady medley of hits, the Can Can choreographed by Loryn Lewis and a bagpipe performance by the Jeppe pipe band.

Performers for the evening include the Johannesburg Festival Orchestra, baritone Timothy Moloi, pianist Elize Kruger, the Jeppe Girls’ Choir and Orchestra, the Jeppe Hlabelela and Marimba ensembles and the Jeppe Pipe Band.
