Say hello to admyt (pronounced admit), a game-changing app that allows you seamless ticket-free access to scores of car parks and shopping malls across Joburg. Yes, you really will never need to use a ticket or pay station again!
To get started headed to the app store and download the free admyt app. Register your car on the app and link it to your bank card and the app will do the rest.
How it works
When you arrive at the car park the booms sync up with your car registration plates and you can drive in without a ticket. The cameras on the boom will recognise your car and automatically open for you. While you are shopping you can then keep an eye on how long you have been and what you owe by checking up on the app. When you are ready to leave, simply drive out again with your parking fees already directly deducted from your account! We've been using the app for a while now, and it really is as simple and frictionless as that.Note that the app only works at select participating malls. There are currently 12 malls in Joburg listed on the app including Mall of Africa in Waterfall City.
