Deeply inspired by nature’s abundance,  ‘Garden of Her Dreams’ evolves from the artist's 2022 solo in London, ‘Her Garden’, which also drew on previous bodies of work, bringing to life ideas about our connection to nature, the artist's place in the world, and womanhood. 

Reflecting the notion of sanctuary, Shany van den Berg's luscious paintings and bronzes in Garden of Her Dreams draw in the viewer.  The garden is a place of rest and replenishment. "A profusion of flowers in her daily life, both real and translated into image, pollinates Van den Berg’s ‘ongoing fascination with the symbolism and multitude of emotions that flora evokes’.
