Superstructure, the latest exhibition by multi-award-winning Joburg filmmaker, artist and sculptor Michael MacGarry is a comprehensive body of new work spread over two galleries, that includes sculpture, installation and two-dimensional works accompanied by a purpose-made score by electronica composer Markus Wormstorm.

Continuing his artistic examination of possible futures and potential human and environmental disasters, this latest exhibition focuses on the dynamics of natural resource extraction and how to it impacts human infrastructural development and contributes to the globe's continuing climate crisis.
