Buskaid, a Soweto-based world-renowned music school that focuses on uplifting previously disadvantaged youth through music teaching, will present yet another memorable performance for their second public show of the year at the iconic Linder Auditorium.

The Buskaid Soweto String Ensemble has toured some of the most prestigious concert halls in South Africa, the UK, France, Netherlands and New Zealand, travelling across the world to perform around 26 times! Join the Buskaid Ensemble for their second "Bach & Boulogne" performance of the year.

As is the orchestra's signature, the concert programme is a rich mix of classical music and modern pop, vibrant Kwela and Afro-pop arrangements. The concert will begin with excerpts from the opera Zoroastre, and feature solo violinists Khotso Langa and Mzwandile Twala who will perform Johann Sebastian Bach's Concerto no 3. Additionally, the ensemble will perform Gioachino Rossini’s first String Sonata and prepare to be delighted by the sparkling music of 18th-century French composer, Joseph Boulogne also known as "Black Mozart".

Age restriction – From seven years old and up.
