The People vs The Rainbow Nation is a documentary film that questions what contemporary South Africa has become. The filmmakers go behind the news broadcasts to investigate the lives of students from four different South African universities, asking them why the South African youth believe the struggle is far from over, even after more than 20 years of democratic freedom.<br /> <br /> This documentary raises complex questions about education in South Africa, colonialism, sexism, classism and patriarchy, as seen through the eyes of young people in contemporary South Africa.<br /> <br />
