Based on the Nicholas Sparks novel of the same name, A Walk to Remember stars a young Mandy Moore and a brooding Shane West as American high schoolers who orbit in totally different social circles until their paths unexpectedly collide. When West's character is forced to join the school play alongside Moore's as punishment for a cruel prank he plays on a fellow student, an unlikely friendship blossoms and then grows into something more.
