Thursday Jan 10 - Wednesday Jan 30       Nelson Mandela Square, West St, Sandton

Multi-award winning theatre director Greg Homann presents this wacky two-man musical comedy take on Verdi's Aida. Usually staged with a cast of up to 200 performers, in this new show, which debuted at the 2018 National Arts Festival, the tragic opera is performed entirely by vocalists Clint Lesch and Len-Barry Simons (accompanied by Wessel Odendaal) on piano who together recreate the drama and splendour of ancient Egypt in hilarious dramatic fashion, making ingenious use of hat-stands, cleverly chosen props, and a large roll of brown paper.

No performances on Mondays.
