Workshop17 is a chic South African co-working brand with three Joburg locations, plus four offices in Cape Town. Workshop17 works on a membership model and once you become a Workshop17 member you can access any of their South African co-working spaces. Membership plans are flexible and there's also the option to simply pay per day (day use starts from R280) without becoming a member or to buy a five, ten or twenty-day hot desk package.

Workshop17's Sandton co-working space couldn't be more conveniently located, situated opposite the Sandton Gautrain station and Nelson Mandela Square. The Workshop17 community attracts startups, entrepreneurs, corporates and freelancers and the building has its own auditorium which is used as a venue for interesting industry talks and launches. There's also a whopping 210 hot desks as well as meeting rooms and 24 'silent' hot desks for when you need quiet time to focus and chase that deadline undistracted. 

The ground floor cafe Fudio with its spacious and sunny street terrace is a popular place to socialise over drinks after the working day is done and serves great value light meals.
