Kraków Dragon Parade: Outdoor Dragon Show on the Wisła River

Saturday Jun 8 22:00       Wisła Boulevards beneath Wawel
share
This annual light and sound spectacle involves fireworks, lasers and huge airborne dragons (up to 25m in length and 15m in height) duking it out over the river near Wawel Castle. The majestic creatures will be animated by Groteska Theatre actors situated on barges, and the whole affair is one of the most popular, unique and exciting events of the year; don't miss it.

Tickets for VIP seating are available (and worth it), but otherwise the event is free. As such, we strongly encourage you to get there early if you don't have tickets, because you'll be competing with literally the city's entire population to find a comfortable spot. Very loud (think rock concert levels - are you an earplugs person?) and crowded, although this seems like an amazing event for kids, it starts late and lasts long, so you might be better off leaving them at home. Dress warm, because it can also get quite chilly.

Viewers are invited to the Czerwieński Boulevard from 20:00, and to the ticketed VIP stand from 21:00.
Keep in mind that the pool of tickets to this wildly popular event is limited, so get in now if you want a guaranteed seat with a great view of this fantastical spectacle!
