Marking the centennial of Slovenian ballet, the show is dedicated to a most transient of arts, the profession of ballet artists, their body and the creation of different artistic worlds when interpreting various ballet roles. Special attention is devoted to some associated arts, including choreography, music, costume and set design. In 1918 the first professional ballet ensemble was established in Ljubljana, followed by the heyday of ballet, a period of vigour that has continued to this very day. This chronological overview includes posters, photographs and private collections of ballet artists and ballet enthusiasts.
