A proud symbol of Russian culture, the Alexandrov Red Army Choir will perform at Ljubljana's Stožice Arena on the 15th of November. Alexandrov has a rich 80-year-old tradition, and has performed at some of Russia's (and the Soviet Union's) most exclusive and important events, including various state functions and the 1980 Moscow Olympics. Consisting of a male choir, a dance ensemble and an orchestra, the show will include traditional dancing, folk music, patriotic songs, opera and classical music. This performance is part of their special memorial tour, honouring the 64 members of the orchestra who tragically died in a plane crash last year.
