If you have an interest in outdoor pursuits, sport, nature, food and drink (that should pretty much cover everybody), then you’re sure to enjoy a visit to the Alpe-Adria Fair. This annual event focuses on Slovenian tourism and aims to promote all the fabulous adventures that this country has to offer. Stallholders come from all over Slovenia, and further afield, to promote services, trips, tours and expeditions as well as eco and sustainable tourism. You’ll also find a fantastic selection of foods and drinks to sample. Throughout the four day event there are a number of talks and presentations, plus the announcement of the Jakob Award 2019 winner. The topic for this year’s award is; New sustainable hunting, fishing and wildlife observation tourism forms.
