Ana Roš, Slovenia's only chef to boast a restaurant with two Michelin stars and ranks amongst the 10 best chefs in the world, opened her first pop-up restaurant in Ljubljana on February 4, 2023.
 
The new bistro 'Ana in Slon'  opened its doors in the restaurant of Hotel Slon, which Ana considers her "Ljubljana home". She will be working with her team at Nazorjeva ulica 5 for three months, and is very much looking forward to the freshness she will bring to Ljubljana's culinary scene with her arrival. With this expansion, Hiše Franko, the virtuoso of the tasting menus, will ensure an exceptional transfer of knowledge from Posočje, and in the bistro Ana in Slon. She will move with a more relaxed concept, perfect for a snack, lunch or dinner in the dynamic heart of the city. In doing so, she will maintain her cooking philosophy, which is based on distinct flavours, seasonal ingredients from the local environment and top-quality preparation.  

The restaurant will not accept reservations, but will be open Wednesday through Sunday for lunch and dinner.
