The desire to combine two outstanding products of Slovenia has led to the idea and organization of the first wine-chocolate festival in Slovenia. With the desire that the Festival of Wine and Chocolate Festival already breathed its soul into the Tourist Podčetrtek and pulled it out of everyday rush, the organizers succeeded in making Podčetrtek a traditional crossroads of chocolate and wine, and the festival itself became an international social event where fans meet wine and chocolate, have fun, educate and make new acquaintances.

The festival itself always follows interesting festival events from tastings, children's chocolate workshops, cooking experiences and a varied entertainment and music program. Within the festival, the title "Naj vinska hiša" and "Naj čokoladnica", after the choice of visitors, is given. However, because they want to add the fascination of the local environment to the festival, it also features local specialties. At the festival you can meet a carpenter, learn more about Kozjansko Park and even sweeten, not only with chocolate, but also with the delicacies of local peasant women who always prepare a tasty and interesting set of local culinary specialties.
