Silvan Omerzu is a Slovenian director, painter and puppet artist, born in 1955 in Brestanica. After studying at the Pedagogical Academy, he started working at the Ljubljana Puppet Theatre, and in 1983 he went to Prague to further his studies in puppet scenography and puppet design. In the early 1990s, he co-founded the independent theatre Konj (Ljubljana) and was a permanent collaborator of the central puppet theatre Minor in Prague, and then worked as an independent creator with various theatres in Slovenia and internationally, for which he created many high-profile shows.

The exhibition on the theme of misogyny, with dolls and an automaton, shows the events that had a fatal impact on the relationship between men and women. It consists of three basic sections (Old Age, Middle Age, New Age) with scenes that follow each other as in the Stations of the Cross.
