Spread across nine city venues the event will run until the end of September. Throughout the summer it will bring together the works of artists from around the globe with exhibitions, events, presentations and workshops. The Ljubljana Biennial of Graphic Arts was founded in 1955 and has firmly established Slovenia as an active network for the exchange of graphic art experiences. This year’s theme ‘Crack Up - Crack Down’, curated by Slavs and Tatars art collective, looks at satire in numerous forms, from comedy, irony, criticism and even activism.
