We were a little sceptical at the beginning, but Cooliozum is unquestionably Poznań's best sports bar. Located in a cellar off of Św. Marcin, this isn’t the dark, divey venue smelling of spilt beer we expected, but rather a large modern space with ice white sofas and a blue-lit bar. That decor might not be to all tastes, but if you're looking for a place to watch the match (and by 'match' we strictly mean European football - for anything else contact them to negotiate an opportunity), this is the place. With 23 screens, there's not a bad seat in the house. Footie aside, other reasons to head here include more than 120 beers (with 14 on tap), board games and darts, as well as poker and foosball tables which seem to have a steady flow of players. In fact, Cooliozum is the training centre of the Polish Foosball Association, so don't overestimate your own abilities. To find Cooliozum, head through the archway at no. 45 and the stairs on your left.
Now they have poker tables to rent - nice fun, we have rented with chips, cards etc. I was talking with manager and he told me that they will have skysports next week. Sports shirts on walls and they have really more than 60 beers..
