The name refers to the Polish cabbage - modra kapusta - that is traditionally served locally (including here) with roast duck and dumplings. The colour of the vegetable changes regionally along a spectrum of red to blue depending on the acidity of the soil, and its deep purple-blue typically seen in Wielkopolska makes up the main colour motif of the restaurant's intimate, classy interior. The menu offers a concise list of modern regional dishes, each delicious, beautifully presented and accompanied by a wine recommendation.
