The Berlin 1936 Olympic Games have gone down in the books to be one of the most controversial games in Olympic history. Used by Hitler to promote his fascist ideology, the games were as much a representation of a resurgent Germany, as it was of its racist ideology (Hitler tried to prevent Jews from participating). These were the first games to be televised and many resources were directed at documenting these games to show off the German capital to the world. This exhibition is devoted to depicting this event in a unique fashion, using a kaiserpanorama, an early example of a photographic slideshow.
