Waldemar Idzikowski, an artist whose oeuvre plays an important part in composing his native Poznań's creative environment. His work is an intriguing artistic phenomenon. It carries metaphorical messages that pose a question of autonomy, independence and "absolute freedom" in art. The artist's body of work contains mainly landscapes inspired by specific views of nature, "points of view", discovered during outdoor escapades. The exhibition also features intimate sculptures and drawings.
