Estonian Puppet Theatre

  Nunne 8 ,   Old Town          (+372) 667 95 55     04 May 2019

The elaborate Puppet Theatre has been a staple of local entertainment since 1952. Theatre performs for children of all ages, and is also active in producing non-puppet performances for all ages. It also houses an extensive, high-tech museum that deals with puppet theatre history and pretty much anything else related to the 'puppet-verse'. Performances are in Estonian, but small children of any language can still be thrilled by the fun characters on display. Enjoy performances at the new Ferdinand Theatre and a quick bite at their new café.

I am 30 years old and couldn't take my eyes from the 'steampunkshow' in the window on Nunne street. You do not have to wait for half an hour to watch it. You can also dial a nummber with your mobile phone (for free!) to start the show. It is amazing and worth to watch it a second and even third time. The music fits perfectly to the movements. Not only wonderful for kids, also for adults!
