Named after a popular national folk dance, this is an Estonian-themed restaurant with a modern twist. It consists of a café on the main floor and a slightly more formal restaurant in the top floor. You won't find any of the traditional, national dishes on the menu, however you will be pleased to discover many Estonian ingredients sporting an haute cuisine style. Check out the upstairs toilet for a truly architectural experience.

Good food, good service. Even though the location might indicate overpriced tourist trap Kaerajaan is absolutely not. Well worth a visit.

Absolutely excellent meal. Had a delicious boar steak and (even though the dark beer in Estonia is outstanding) a very nice merlot to go with. Decent portions we were so full we couldn't make dessert. Service is friendly and helpful and the live musicians (a fiddler and guitarist) were professional entertaining and didn't intrude on the meal. Reasonable pricing for a first class night out. Would definitely return if I'm in Tallinn again (and yes the upstairs toilet is amusing and well worth visiting).
