  Peetri 12 ,   Kalamaja & Kopli         29 Feb 2024
Situated in the vibrant Noblessner harbor complex, Kai Art Center stands as a dynamic hub of cultural expression. With its captivating blend of contemporary art, immersive cultural activities, and acclaimed architectural design, Kai offers an enchanting experience. Within its expansive 450m2 exhibition hall, visitors can immerse themselves in three to five thought-provoking large-scale art projects annually, complemented by a diverse range of engaging audience programs. Adding to its allure, Kai Art Center is home to the exclusive cinema of Northern Tallinn, operated by Sõprus Cinema, and houses an art book store curated by the independent publisher, Lugemik.

Ongoing exhibitions: Reykjavik-based Hrafnhildur Arnadóttir / Shoplifter, who calls herself a color maximalist, has created a unique multicolored installation for the Kai space using synthetic hair – her signature material. The soundscape for the exhibition has been created by Icelandic musician and talented theremin player Hekla. This magical environment inspires an inner journey, bringing joy to visitors of all ages. Shoplifter’s solo exhibition ´Hyperweb' will be on view from May 27 until November 26. More info on website.
