The participants of this annual festival organised by Copernicus Science Centre have the opportunity to understand how the power of constructing the future is in the hands of every single one of us. The only limitation is our own imaginations. Combining science, art, technology and design, the Transformation Festival presents various ideas and perspectives that encourage the audience to think critically about the contemporary issues facing humankind. The programme includes exhibitions, discussion panels, workshops, lectures, concerts, film screenings and even VR experiences that explore how humans can be the driving force of change in the world.

The slogan of the 11th edition of the festival is 'The climate is changing us,' which promises to focus not on fearmongering but rather presenting effective solutions for correcting the climate crisis. Over three days of meetings with experts, lectures, documentary films and more, the 2021 Transformation festival will build confidence in the science of climate change, educate the audience on where to source information, and explore the themes and topics of carbon footprint, energy transition, electromobility and transportation, climate justice, geoengineering, rare metals, climate protests and intergenerational dialogue. During the festival, the festival cafe will have a special menu prepared, and DJs will preside over late night parties.
