The Salon Salut in the Wiedikon district combines the feel of a living room with the coolness of a French bar, which really makes it a perfect café. And as every good café, the Salut offers snacks like French croque monsieur (toast with ham and cheese), salads or quiches. Or even moules et frites (mussels with fries) or entrecôte if you're really hungry. But it's also a fine place to while the day away with a cup of coffee, or if you really want it à la française, maybe with a glass of wine (or two?). You can grab some books from the bookshelf or a newspaper in case you get bored - but they will be in German.
