Exer is a simple, yet beautiful bar that's perfect for a beer with your mates, but we can't figure out what specifically made us immediately feel at home here. Was it the omnipresent history of a venue that's been a bar or restaurant since 1886? Or perhaps the meticulous refurbishment by the new owners? Maybe it was just the familiar face of Ursi, one of the city's most legendary barkeeps (ex Kon-Tiki). Whatever it was, we definitely liked it. We'll definitely come back to try its homemade pickles, the mysterious, spicy Exer egg and, best of all, the selection of seven different draught beers that changes with the seasons.
