FIFA World Football Museum

Seestrasse 27     more than a year ago
Zurich is the home of the FIFA World football museum and the museum offers two special activities during the World Cup. The first is that you can visit the museum for free if you're dressed in any national team's jersey. And by any, they mean any! It can be from any FIFA member nation, not just the 32 participating at this year's World Cup (current, former and retro shirts are all accepted). The second special offer is that you can watch the matches here. The museum has set up a so-called living room with sofa corners and high tables where they'll show all the World Cup matches. In addition to the matches, a programme of events (from panel discussions to movies and even a poetry slam) will be available covering the history and culture of football custom-tailored to the day's games. Check out the programme here. The adjoining Sportsbar 1904 will also show the matches.
