Printing has a long history in Switzerland. One of the oldest companies in the industry is Orell Füssli. The firm was established 500 years ago by Christoph Froschauer, who made his name by printing the Bible. In the 21st century, the Zurich-based company engages in a range of publishing activities printing everything from non-fiction books and passports to banknotes. The exhibition gives an overview of the company and takes a detailed look at the firm’s technological innovations presenting bestsellers from five centuries.
