Herman's Living Room at Hotel Greulich boasts lots of wood, some long tables and an impressive bookshelf where you can find some magazines to read as well as some books for sale. If you're curious about the unusual name, Herman Greulich (1842 - 1925) was the founder of the Swiss social democratic party and a member of parliament. Today he serves coffee and snacks like cheese and dried meat platters, quiche and salads. But Herman also has a well appointed bar with everything from fine beers and wines to long drinks and spirits. Some board games are on offer at the reception and a comfortable cigar lounge is also at your disposal. Last but not least, an outdoor seating area can be found outside which is a good place to watch daily district life pass by.
