The Mitsu has closed for good at the end of July 2017.

Unlike similar restaurants of its genre that cater to the sushi crowd, small, charming Mitsu specialises in hot Japanese meals. Whether you order the tofu, which was 'cooked' on the table for the final 10 minutes, the miso eggplant, the tempura vegetables or the pork belly, it all tastes consistently great. The dishes are meant to be shared and come with extra sauces and add-ons like ginger, matcha salt, radish and the like. The staff really know what they're doing here and one can genuinely taste the chefs' passion for food in each delicious morsel.
