This gin is actually distilled in the city of Zurich, hence the name Turicum (Latin for Zurich). A passionate group surrounding Merlin Kofler has produced this fine spirit in small batches since 2015. It’s made of 12 different natural ingredients including local fir tree needles and lime blossoms as well as juniper berries, of course. The successful brand comes in a stylish stone bottle and is definitely a good souvenir or gift. You can find it for example at the Jelmoli and Globus department stores on Bahnhofstrasse.
