This rustic tavern was taken over by new owners in early 2019, but still does typical hearty Zurich fare like cordon bleu, geschnetzeltes, hörnli maccaroni with minced meat and the like. However, they now also offer some more contemporary and refined options on the menu such as quinoa salad wtih melon and feta cheese or corn-fed poulard breast with bulgur. We chose the calf's liver with apple sauce and mashed potatoes and were more than happpy with the flavour and quality. The service is friendly and the beers come quickly, so you can try something new here or just experience some traditional cuisine and charm.
