Since the summer of 2019, Zurich Nord has also had its own proper open-air bar. Complete with chains of lights and a bar and kitchen in a type of containers, it's located right next to the Oerlikon train station. A real teepee-style tent with lounge area, book corner and table football are some of the more unique features of this place. For food there are salads, burgers (we tried the vegetarian one and have to say, we've had more interesting meatless burgers), sausages from the grill and different food trucks set up shop. The locals seem to have adopted the place quickly. Well, we guess it has never been easier to fall for a beer or two on your commute home then when a lovely open-air bar like Max pops up literally at your station.
