Making a bold impression simply by being bright, modern and free of clutter, Hamsa offers a range of authentic Middle Eastern specialties in a casual environment. The mezze sets are perfect for sharing, and not only give you a chance to sample delicious starters like the humus, babaganoush, labnah and muhammarah (our recommended choice), but are also beautifully presented in hand-painted dish ware. There's plenty of room, and in spring/summer this restaurant expands to ul. Miodowa 41 with a beautiful garden. Fairly-priced and generally a breath of fresh air, Hamsa is a delight.

I found this place using your mini-guide when I was in Krakow recently for the Euro2017 tournament. I was with friends in Kazimierz and we were looking for an informal meal away from the crowds on Pl. Nowy. I have to say that this was an excellent recommendation. The food was, without exception,very tasty. We had the mezze sets, the fish soup and both the Israeli kebabs by the way. One tip - the place was busy so we decided to take a table out the back overlooking Szeroka rather than wait for one in the really picturesque courtyard and that turned out to be a very good idea. The service was quicker out there and it was peaceful as well as very atmospheric. Thanks for the tip - just a 5 minute walk from Pl. Nowy but I''d never have found it without the guide.

Hamsa is a great hummus/Middle Eastern food place! The mezza platters are fantastic! The various hummus choices are all good - the red pepper one is outstanding! The falafel is some of the best I've ever had! And recently they have added pastrami sandwiches - a rarity in Krakow - and they are amazing! The service is great and the atmosphere is casual and comfortable - definitely a place to try when in Kazimierz.
