Just metres from Kraków's main Christmas market, this smaller, secondary market - new in 2025 - will focus on traditional and artistic handicrafts. It offers an opportunity to meet with artists, learn about their processes and come face to face with regional craft traditions that are passed down from generation to generation. Among the handmade items available at this curated holiday craft fair will be unique Christmas tree decorations (painted baubles, blown glass, felt, paper, straw), Krakow nativity scenes in various scales and techniques, lace and artistic fabrics (embroidery, weaving, bobbin lace, paper cut-outs), functional and artistic ceramics (dishes, lanterns, decorations), artistic glass (stained glass, fusing, blown forms), wooden and fabric toys, original jewellery (silver, copper, enamel, ceramics, wood), embroidery, leather and linen products, Advent wreaths, hand-decorated candles, cards, graphics and original prints, and other small Christmas gifts. Lasting an entire month, it will be a great alternative to the more commercial wares at the main square, and a showcase for Polish design.
