After a long absence, the beloved poster museum is back! The newly modernized layout features regularly changing poster exhibitions. Start with the Polish poster collection, with over 36,000 titles. "It is here that its tradition and achievements are subjected to review and reinterpretation," the museum says. Now, they're divided into six chapters: from the Young Poland era, through the artistic advertising of the interwar period, post-war propaganda, the artistic phenomenon of the Polish School of Posters, to modern graphic design.
Housed inside the Wilanów Palace’s former indoor riding area, the Poster Museum features nearly 60,000 pieces, this is reportedly the largest poster collection to be found anywhere.
The foreign poster collection is also incredible -- with an unrivaled collection of posters 25,000 posters from around the world. The museum focuses on the artistic merits of the posters rather than their documentary value and plays host to a cycle of temporary events and exhibitions.
