With over 150 stalls, The Linden Market has grown into a fun shopping experience, complete with live music and entertainment that captures the spirit of Joburg.
This market is the perfect spot for gift shopping, featuring ethically sourced materials, sustainable goods, and artisanal creations. For the creative souls, craft workshops will ignite your imagination, while the kids can enjoy a variety of activities, from painting to sculpting to making their own unique pieces.

The Linden Market hits a high note with first-ever anthem
For 10 years, The Linden Market has been more than a shopping stop – it’s been a community hub where makers, bakers, and creatives shine. Now, it’s hitting a high note (literally) with its first-ever anthem, We Build Together (Siyakhe Sonke), debuting at the spring edition.
Composed by Wesley West, with lyrics by market director Stachia Conradie, and performed by Idols finalist Suzzi Swanepoel, folk singer Lungelo Moyo, and the Greenside High Choir, the song is a love letter to the market’s journey – celebrating small businesses, loyal visitors, and the spirit of building together for the next decade.
