Msaki is a South African artist of quiet power. Her lyricism is profound, her thinking is crystal clear, and her voice and musicianship make it all soar. Yet her unassuming demeanor means she's more inclined to stage an intimate home performance than a mega-concert, which makes her latest offering all the more intriguing.

After stepping back from the spotlight in 2023 to recharge and reconnect with her art, Msaki marks her return with a heartfelt thank you to her supporters, collaborators, and community. The title Camagu in Symphony: 10 Years of Gratitude comes from the isiXhosa word meaning gratitude, and it celebrates the fullness of Msaki's journey and ushers in the next stage of her career.
The Standard Bank Young Artist Award-winner for music in 2022, Msaki's solo exhibition Kuthi Mandithethe: Of Art & Justice serves as a precursor to this monumental, one-night-only performance. The exhibition runs at the Standard Bank Gallery from Thu, Nov 22 – Fri, Jan 31, 2025.

Camagu in Symphony will feature orchestral arrangements of Msaki's best-loved songs from her debut EP Nal'Ithemba, her critically acclaimed album Zaneliza, and her genre-bending collaborations with other artists. Expect folk, electronic dance, and amapiano sounds, showcasing the diversity of Msaki's music style. A bumper line-up of fellow musicians will join her on stage, incliuding the likes of Sun-El Musician, Black Motion, TRESOR, and Simmy.
The dress code of tuxedos and takkies reflects Msaki's personality, setting the tone for a night that blends elegance with energy. Don't miss Camagu in Symphony at the SunBet Arena at Time Square Casino in Pretoria on Thu, Dec 12 from 20:00. Book here.
